Small companies, with twelve or less members of technical staff and less than 100 employees, can receive a discount of 50% off the purchase price.

Lease: $8,000
The lease period is 20 weeks. DVDs may be retained past the indicated period for an additional monthly rental charge of $250.00 per month.* No discount is given on the lease price to small companies.

Individual: $2,600
Individual engineers may purchase courses for independent study. The individual must sign a contract to retain the DVDs for three years only, after that time, the DVDs must be destroyed.

All video courses offered by the Cal VIEW office through NTU can be taken on an audit basis. Auditors participate in the class as fully as their interest in the course and their work-schedule permits.

Universities
Both US and foreign Universities must sign a contract to retain the DVDs for three years only, after that time, the DVDs must be destroyed. A single sided bound copy of course notes is available for all courses for $75.00 per course, per volume of materials.

* This charge will accrue automatically if DVDs are retained from one to 30 days after the lease period. The company will be invoiced for any lease extension at the monthly rate of $250, in three month increments until the DVDs are returned.

Shipping Charge All DVDs are shipped via DHL or International FedEx. Within the United States shipping is $30. Outside of the United States, $100 for each box of DVDs and/or materials.

Sales Tax An 8.75% CA sales tax will be added to the purchase price when applicable.

Course Materials One single-sided unbound copy of course materials, if there are any, is included with the course DVDs. For individual use, one bound copy is provided.

Textbooks Textbooks are not available through Cal VIEW. Textbooks need to be obtained from a retail source.

Rights The purchase or lease of a course gives the buyer the right to duplicate, for in-house use only, all course materials, not DVDs.
Additional copies of course materials for a fee of $.15 per page plus tax. After 15 complete sets of materials are copied at the regular price, the copying charge drops to $.06 per page plus tax.
