Philosophy of Distance Education
A message from
the Director:
The Cal VIEW program in the College of Engineering
has 15 years of experience providing IC design courses
in a distance-education mode to industry professionals
working in the high-tech industries.
The teaching model
the program follows is to
hire a talented, articulate Ph.D. student of the
professor, whose course is being taught, to
serve as a mentor-facilitator for those enrolled
in the course.
