Bill Gates speaks to engineers

Don't miss the opportunity to hear one of the world's most successful software developers and visionaries, Bill Gates, at Zellerbach Hall on Friday, October 1 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Free tickets are available first-come-first-served only to Engineering students and Engineering faculty (one ticket per individual) on Friday, September 24, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (or until tickets run out) -- on the east side of McLaughlin Hall (near the Macchi Bears). Students and faculty must show photo IDs to receive a ticket on September 24.

On October 1, those with tickets are strongly encouraged to arrive by 8 a.m. as there will be a security check before entering Zellerbach. Seating is open, so the earlier you come, the better chance you have of getting a good seat. Doors open at 8 a.m. Students and faculty must bring photo ID and are encouraged to leave their bags and backpacks at home to save time at the security checks. The talk will begin at 9 a.m. sharp.
