Tau Beta Pi fall 2004 candidate eligibility list coming soon
The list of eligible candidates for fall 2004 Tau Beta Pi membership will be coming out soon, so be on the look out. This is a great opportunity for any engineering undergrad to get involved with Tau Beta Pi.
Tau Beta Pi is one of the nation’s oldest and most prestigious honors societies for engineers. Its members are selected for academic achievement and exemplary character. Benefits include academic recognition, eligibility for specific scholarships, opportunities to meet new people, a schedule of fun events, and much more. Any undergraduate engineering major is eligible if he or she has a GPA in the top eighth of the junior class, or top fifth of the senior class (according to number of completed credits).
Eligibility lists will be available on bulletin boards in most engineering buildings (specifically outside of 220 Bechtel) and online at http://tbp.berkeley.edu. The first candidate meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 6.
