Faculty HonorDean A. Richard Newton was named to the National Academy of Engineering and is among the 76 new members to be elected this term. He was cited "for innovations and leadership in electronic design automation and for leadership in engineering education." Newton's naming brings the total number of living Berkeley engineers in the academy up to 87. |
