Brainteaser AnswerA grocery clerk
must stack 720 cans of vegetables in a pyramid formation. Each row must
contain one less can than the row below it. Is it possible to use up
all the cans and have a top row with only one can? If so, how many rows
of cans would he have? Answer: This brainteaser required some thinking outside the box (or in this case, the can). While many of you said that it was not possible, you pictured building a pyramid that was one can thick. The answer says the pyramid is thirteen cans on the bottom row to one on top, but it must be four cans deep to use all 720. This truly was a brainteaser because no one got this answer right! |
