Brainteaser AnswerIn the land
of Woz, each person has only one car. The license plate of each car
is different and contains just one letter and one one-digit number including
zero. How many people live in the land of Woz? Answer: Take the number of possible digits for the first slot, times the number of possible digits for the second slot, times 2 (because the two could be swapped.) You get 26*10*2 = 520 possible plates. The above answer assumes that you cannot use lower case letters. The winner is ME sophomore Henry Lopez. |
