Alum Honor

Last year’s Bechtel Achievement Award winner, EECS alum Ankur Luthra has added another prestigious award to his impressive resume. After winning the Rhodes scholarship last year, Luthra has become the first Berkeley engineer to win the Soros Fellowship. The fellowship prize applies more than $70,000 towards two years of graduate study in the U.S. While thousands apply, only 30 winners are selected each year.
