If engineering paid really badly would you switch majors?

Anatoly Smolkin,
EECS sophomore

No, I wouldn’t change because I think that any employer is impressed with an undergraduate engineering degree, and I like that it distinguishes me from everyone else. It might, however, drive me to study something more lucrative in grad school, like law or business.

Brian Milch,
CS grad student

I already turned down an industry job that paid more than my grad school stipend. So for me it isn’t about the money.

Lauren Huey,
CEE sophomore

No, because I want to be a project manager. It seems really fun and I can’t think of anything else that I’d want to do.
