Commencement information
Commencement, a traditional all-College ceremony, is scheduled for Saturday,
May 21, 2005, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Hearst Greek Theatre. To register
or for more information, go to www.coe.berkeley.edu/commencement/.
Deadline to register is March 15. For additional questions, call Shelley

Tell the College what
you think
Do you want the College to hear your opinions on how to improve your
education? Serve as a student member on one of the faculty committees
that set policies and plan programs. Committee members must agree to
the publication of their names and e-mail addresses and to hold office
hours on an ad hoc basis. For more information and applications, go
to www.coe.berkeley.edu/current_students/committee/.
Applications must be submitted to Bren Ahearn, bahearn@coe.berkeley.edu,
by Friday, March 18.
E190 placement test
All students planning to take E190 are required to take the Engineering
190 Placement Test before enrolling in the course. The next test is
scheduled for Wednesday, March 30, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Sibley Auditorium.
Students planning to take E190 in the summer or fall of 2005 must take
the test on March 30 if they haven't already done so. No signup is required;
just arrive promptly at 5:30 p.m. with a pencil or pen and your student
ID.
For undergraduate researchers
Sign up now for spring 2005 Engineering & Science Poster Session,
Wednesday, April 13, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The session is a fun experience
and good practice in preparing a poster and sharing your research with
