Welcome to the homepage for
the undergraduate programs in Engineering Science at the
University
of California at Berkeley.
The Engineering Science Program is multidepartmental
and interdisciplinary. This undergraduate program encompasses
a variety of closely related areas of the physical and biological
sciences, mathematics and engineering. It is intended to provide
a means whereby students, while acquiring knowledge of engineering
methods, can pursue their interests in areas of natural science. The options offered within engineering science prepare students
for advanced graduate study in engineering, the natural sciences,
or medicine.
There are four fully structured majors in the curriculum:
1. Computational
Engineering Science
2. Engineering
Mathematics
and Statistics
3. Engineering
Physics
4. Environmental
Engineering Science
In addition, freshmen may enroll in the Engineering-Undeclared option.
